Low Carbohydrate
Low Carbohydrate Diet
When most people begin a low carbohydrate diet, they do it for a limited amount of time. For instance, there may be a banquet to which they want to wear that special dress, but need to lose a few pounds first. Or it may be a class reunion, where the objective is to show you either haven't gained a pound or lost the pounds since you last saw each other. Whatever the reason, diets seem to come and go in seasons. Fortunately, there is a carbohydrate diet that does not seem like a diet, and it can be considered a way of life and not just a diet.
The low carbohydrate diet is not the type of diet you embark upon for a given amount of time. And most people who use the low carbohydrate diet continue it well after they reach their goal. To them, its' become a way to live. They don't have to give up their favorite foods, because most foods can be cooked in low carb form. It's like they have the best of both worlds. They can eat comfortably without the guilt. All it takes is a few switched ingredients and the recipe gets a lot healthier. That's the beauty of such a diet. The low carbohydrate diet may take a second to get used to, but once you're accustomed to it it's smooth sailing.
"Before starting my low carbohydrate diet, I thought dieting meant eating food that was gross and unheard of. But I was pleasantly surprised to know that most of my favorite foods were one ingredient from being low carbohydrate ... and healthier. I looked at some more of my favorite foods, and with the exception of an ingredient here and there, they were practically healthy or "safe" already. Low carbohydrate diets don't have to be "strict and undoable."
